Fleet Electrification Kenya

Turn your fuel budget into an electric fleet.

A structured path from a 90-day pilot to a fully electric delivery, courier or staff transport fleet — vehicles, charging, financing, tracking and reporting from one partner.

Why Kenyan fleets are switching now

Three things have changed at once. Fuel has become the largest controllable line item in most Kenyan logistics operations. Kenya's electricity grid is predominantly renewable, which makes the emissions case genuinely strong rather than cosmetic. And electric two-wheelers have matured to the point where range, payload and durability meet real commercial duty cycles.

The remaining barrier is not technology — it is operational risk. Operations directors reasonably worry about range on a bad day, charging when power is unreliable, rider resistance, and who fixes the bike when it stops. Our whole model is built to remove those four risks before you commit capital.

Method

A four-stage electrification path

The same sequence we run with logistics companies, food delivery operators, courier firms, NGOs and institutions.

01

Route and energy audit

We analyse your routes, daily kilometres, load profiles and depot electrical capacity, then model which vehicles and battery sizes fit without changing how you operate.

02

90-day pilot

Five to ten bikes on your highest-mileage urban routes, running alongside the petrol fleet, with tracking on every unit. Billed as an operating expense, not a capital project.

03

Charging infrastructure

Depot charging banks, battery swap racks and optional solar assistance sized to your shift pattern and installed by our team.

04

Scale and report

Roll out under a per-rider lease as petrol units retire, with monthly reporting on cost per kilometre, uptime, energy use and CO2 avoided.

Business case

What a 20-bike fleet looks like

Indicative figures for a Nairobi delivery fleet averaging 90 km per bike per day.

Roughly KES 320,000 per month of running-cost difference on a 20-bike fleet — typically more than the monthly lease covering the vehicles, batteries, tracking and servicing.
